GENERAL MANAGING OF THE FOUNDATION

Responsible for the design and budget execution, according to the objectives agreed with the artistic direction. Establish the sponsorship strategy and/or other sources of income. He supervises the administrative management of the foundation and is responsible for the selection of personnel.

Also oversees the industry area, Sitges Film Industry, and directs international and national relations with public and private organizations in the film sector. He is also directly responsible for institutional relations related to cinema. He also coordinates departments such as public relations, VIP guest management, etc.

 

ARTISTIC DIRECTION

Responsible for the design of each edition at the programming and guest level. It establishes the thematic lines of the year and is in charge of the artistic strategy of the festival in general. Assumes the functions of public spokesperson in front of the media. He works directly with departments such as film coordination and VIP guest management, as well as the programming committee, Anima'T and Brigadoon.

 

ASSISTANT PROGRAMMING DIRECTOR

Supports the artistic direction by coordinating the programming committee and is a qualified member of it. Specifically, he/she directs the Brigadoon section. He/she complements the tasks of supervising screenings, dealing with guests, distributors and assisting markets.

 

ADMINISTRATION

Responsible for all accounting and administrative tasks derived from the festival's activity, as well as human resources management. Among others, his outstanding functions are: the management of public tenders, the administrative dynamics of the executive committee and the Board of Trustees of the Foundation; support for budget control; attention to suppliers, etc.

 

MARKETING

Responsible for the achievement of sponsorships, donations and exploitation of other channels of private income. Manage the considerations of each agreement.

 

SITGES INDUSTRY

Responsible for the coordination and execution of all industry activities.

 

FILM LITERACY

Responsible for the coordination and execution of actions aimed at new audiences, children and young people: Kids en Acción and Ventana Cinéfila.

 

VIP TALENT

Responsible for the management of special guests in each edition.

 

FILM COORDINATION

Responsible for film management: invitations; adaptation of formats; projection quality, etc.

 

PROGRAMMING COMMITTEE

Variable team that supports the viewing of the candidate films of each edition.

 

ANIMA'T

Responsible for the selection of short films in competition in the Anima'T section.

 

BRIGADOON

Head of the Brigadoon section. In addition, this position also supports the artistic direction with the final selection of the titles in competition; participation in international markets for market screenings; coordination of exhibitions and certain thematic publications. He is responsible for the management of the Zombie Walk.

 

PUBLIC RELATIONS

Responsible for the attention of each festival guest: accreditation; diary; hospitality, etc. He also coordinates the daily planning of activities during the festival; the coordination of red carpets; opening and closing ceremonies, etc.

Attention PR

Network responsible for the personalized attention of each guest or group of guests at the festival.

Jury Secretariat

Responsible for the coordination of all the members of the festival juries and their personalized attention.

Rooming

Responsible for managing hospitality for each of the guests and members of the organization. Coordinates incidents with the hotel network (and rental apartments) and oversees the billing of this section.

Coordination of translators and interpreters

Coordinates the translation needs of the festival services, guests and accredited press.

 

PROTOCOL

Responsible for institutional attention to personalities and authorities attending the festival. It is also in charge of the protocol manual, institutional negotiation and the agenda of events with institutional participation and/or assistance.

 

TICKETING

Responsible for planning the sessions scheduled in the event, both at the level of invitations and sales to the public. It is the interlocutor with the ticket sales platform (selected by annual contest). Design the distribution of points of sale, schedules, distribution of quotas, offers, etc.

Coordination of invitations

Responsible for the coordination of invitations addressed to special groups: press; protocol; industry etc

Box Office

Responsible for direct ticket sales.

Telephone attention

Customer service for the resolution of incidents in ticket sales or to answer questions about the festival's programming and/or operations.

Professional accreditations

Responsible for managing the accreditations of all attendees at the event, in accordance with the corresponding rights.

 

PUBLICATIONS

Responsible for management, design and execution of the festival's catalog and newspaper.

 

VOLUNTEERS

Responsible for the coordination, attention and distribution of tasks among the volunteers of the contest.

 

PARALLEL ACTIVITIES

Responsible for the coordination of parallel activities, especially those that involve social revitalization and the geographical environment of the event.

 

TRANSPORTATION

Responsible for the fleet of cars and official drivers. Design care protocols and daily service planning.

 

COMMUNICATION AND PRESS

External service awarded by annual public tender. Together with the Foundation's management and artistic direction, he designs the communication plan for the festival. It pays special attention to the organization of press conferences; creation of electronic newsletters; promotion of social networks, etc.
Designs and is responsible for the policy of invitations and accreditations in the national and foreign press.

Photography

Responsible for the photographic compilation of each edition.

 

PRODUCTION AND LOGISTICS

Responsible for the design, coordination, planning and execution of all the festival infrastructures, as well as the necessary human resources. It is also responsible for the event's security policy.

Venues councilors

Venue managers of each of the official venues of the festival.

Sustainability

Control and execution of actions attached to the festival's sustainability plan from the production area.

Doorman

Control and surveillance of access to the official venues of the festival.

Carrier

Transportation of the necessary materials between the different venues of the event and other points.

Store

Control and organization of the materials of each edition.
