'Amigo' ’s producers present their next project at Sitges FanPitch

Sitges FanPitch, the genre feature film project competition, is part of an international network of markets, which includes Blood Window (Ventana Sur, Argentina); Frontières (Fantasy, Canada) and NAFF Project Market (Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival, South Korea). This circuit allows projects to multiply their co-production and promotion options, by achieving greater international exposure. Throughout the year, those responsible for programming and industry at the Sitges Film Festival participate in the pitch juries of the aforementioned markets and select projects to be presented at the event.

Upiro is the new proposal that comes from the production company (El Ojo Mecánico) and the director, Óscar Martín, of the disturbing film Amigo, performed by Javier Botet and presented in the official section of the Sitges Festival in 2019. This project on vampirism was one of the winners at Blood Window 2020.
