The Argentine filmmaker, accompanied by an opportune and disturbing canine companion, talks about his relationship with Sitges (where he had already competed with his previous feature film; where he had already participated in both Brigadoon and the Sitges FanPitch), the importance of emotional and psychological support, the state of genre filmmaking in a country, his own, now threatened by the new (?) political currents, and the insurmountable pinnacle of having James Cameron sit in on the Q&A of one of your films.
